Tax Relief Programs
If you are a veteran or senior citizen, you may qualify for a deduction. There are federal regulations and income guidelines which qualified citizens must meet. Forms and information are available in the Assessor’s office. The following forms are available online from the State. Complete, print, and submit to the Fredon Tax Collector.

Homestead Rebate
The Homestead Rebate is incorporated in your state income tax form. These are mailed directly to your home. You no longer file a separate form.
Farmland Assessment
Farmland assessment forms must be filed by August 1. Look for the post card, which is mailed by February 1 of each year. This card informs you what your assessment is for the current year. Please read it carefully!

Property Assessment Information
Assessment post cards are mailed out to property owners by January 31. Please notify this office when you change your address.
