Awarding the Contract for the Township of Fredon Municipal Building Roof Replacement and Related Work to White Rock Corp., in the Amount Not to Exceed $127,000.00* (with an added as/if needed $300.00 per sheet removal/replacement cost for any 4’ x 8’ sheathing section required to be replaced)

WHEREAS, the Township of Fredon, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey, solicited competitive bid proposals for the Township of Fredon Municipal Building Roof Replacement and Related Work pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law; and

WHEREAS, the bid due date was September 1, 2026; and

WHEREAS, the Township Engineer, Harold E. Pellow & Associates Inc., have reviewed the bid proposals received by the Township and provided Recommendation of Award letter, dated September 1, 2026 wherein a recommendation is made to award the contract for the Township of Fredon Municipal Building Roof Replacement and Related Work to White Rock Corp. as the lowest responsible bidder; and

WHEREAS, the subject Recommendation of Award, dated September 1, 2026 is attached hereto and made part hereof; and

WHEREAS, the cost of the above-mentioned project is not to exceed $127,000.00 *(with an added as/if needed $300.00 per sheet removal/replacement cost for any 4’ x 8’ sheathing section required to be replaced); and

WHEREAS, the award of such contract is contingent upon a certification of funds, demonstrating sufficient funding available for the above-mentioned project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township of Fredon, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey that the contract for the Township of Fredon Municipal Building Roof Replacement and Related Work is hereby awarded to White Rock Corp., 17 Gramercy Road, Old Bridge, NJ 08857 in the amount not to exceed $127,000.00 *(with an added as/if needed $300.00 per sheet removal/replacement cost for any 4’ x 8’ sheathing section required to be replaced).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the award of such contract is contingent upon a certification of funds issued by the Fredon Township Chief Municipal Finance Officer.

BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Township Committee, Chief Municipal Finance Officer, Township Clerk, and/or any other duly designated representative thereof be and are hereby authorized to execute any and all relevant documents and to take any and all action necessary to effectuate the purpose of the Resolution.

CERTIFICATION I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Fredon at a meeting held on September 9, 2026.
