A Resolution Appointing Judge, Court Administrator, Prosecutor and Public Defender of the Fredon Township Municipal Court

WHEREAS, the Town of Newton and the Township of Fredon have entered into an agreement to share a municipal court arrangement, to be hosted in the Town of Newton; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to said Agreement, the Township of Fredon is required to appoint the Municipal Judge, Court Administrator, Prosecutor, and Public Defender currently serving the Court;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the Township of Fredon, in the County of Sussex and State of New Jersey, that the following appointments are hereby made to preside over the Fredon Township Municipal Court:

• Municipal Judge: The Honorable Michael A. Carlucci, for a one-year term effective January 6, 2026
• Court Administrator: Michelle Estremera
• Prosecutor: Chirag D. Mehta
• Public Defender: Orlando R. Rodriguez

CERTIFICATION

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true and correct copy of a resolution duly adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Fredon, in the County of Sussex, New Jersey, at a meeting held on  August 10, 2026.
