Approving Bear Brook Valley Fireworks February 28, 2026

WHEREAS, a Resolution of the Fredon Township Committee is required by the New Jersey Department of Labor, Division of workplace Standards, to grant permission for the public display of fireworks; and
WHEREAS, the contracted, designated fireworks company has submitted a proposal for a fireworks display with a copy of the permit application, certificate of insurance, a site diagram and other pertinent information, in conjunction with a fireworks display that will take place at Bear Brook Valley February 28, 2026 voided by Celebration Fireworks will be completed by 9:30 P.M as part of various wedding celebrations; and
WHEREAS, Sussex County Fire Marshal Virgil R. Rome, Jr. has advised that the application for said fireworks display is complete and in order; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Fredon that the Township of Fredon is granted permission for a fireworks display during the celebration of weddings that will take place on February 28, 2026 and that said fireworks display will be provided by Celebration Fireworks and will be completed by 9:30 P.M; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified original of this Resolution be forwarded to the New Jersey Department of Labor Division of Public Safety and Sussex County Fire Marshal Virgil R. Rome, Jr.
