Authorizing the Repair of the Announcer’s Booth Roof on Municipal Property by Kittatinny Midget Football, Inc With Ownership, Maintenance and Repair Responsibilities for the Announcer’s Booth

WHEREAS, the Township of Fredon recognizes the value of maintaining and improving recreational facilities for the benefit of residents and visitors; and

WHEREAS, Kittatinny Midget Football, Inc. (“KMFL”) has proposed to fund and complete repairs to the roof of the announcer’s booth located on municipal property at Lodestar Park; and

WHEREAS, the Township supports the repair of the announcer’s booth in order to preserve and improve the condition of the facility; and

WHEREAS, it is understood and acknowledged that KMFL shall own, maintain, and be solely responsible for all future repairs, upkeep, and maintenance associated with the announcer’s booth; and

WHEREAS, the Township desires to authorize the roof repair project subject to anynecessary review and approval by the appropriate Township officials.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Fredon, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey, as follows:

1. The Township hereby authorizes Kittatinny Midget Football, Inc. to complete
   repairs to the announcer’s booth located on municipal property at Lodestar Park,
   subject to any required permits, inspections, and review by the Township Zoning
   Official, Construction Official, and/or Township Engineer, as applicable.
2. KMFL shall be solely responsible for all costs associated with the roof repair
   project, including materials, labor, permits, and any related expenses.
3.  KMFL shall own, maintain, repair, and be fully responsible for the ongoing
   upkeep and condition of the field house building.
4. The Township shall bear no responsibility for maintenance, repair, replacement,
   or liability associated with the announcer’s booth except as otherwise required by
   law.
5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
