Notice of Introduction Ordinance 2026-07

TAKE NOTICE that the following Capital Ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading at a meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Fredon, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey, held on August 10, 2026, and was thereafter duly published according to law, and will be considered for final passage at a meeting of said Township Committee held on August 26, 2026, at the Fredon Municipal Building, 443 Route 94, Fredon, New Jersey, at which time and place all persons interested have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance, and after such hearing said Ordinance was finally adopted:

CAPITAL ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $144,652.00 FROM THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FISCAL YEAR 2026 TRUST FUND GRANT/MUNICIPAL AID PROGRAM, AND $32,000.00 FROM THE TOWNSHIP OF FREDON GENERAL CAPITAL FUND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO VAN HORN ROAD SECTION I

A copy of this Ordinance has been posted on the bulletin board upon which public notices are customarily posted in the Fredon Municipal Building, and a copy is available, free of charge, to any member of the general public who shall request it, at the office of the Township Clerk, 443 Route 94, Fredon, New Jersey, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A copy is also available on the Township’s website at fredonnj.gov.
