Notice of Adoption Capital Ordinance 2026-07

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Capital Ordinance was finally adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Fredon, in the County of Sussex, New Jersey, on August 26, 2026.

CAPITAL ORDINANCE 2026-07

Capital Ordinance Appropriating $144,652.00 from the New Jersey Department of Transportation Fiscal Year 2026 Trust Fund Grant/Municipal Aid Program, and $32,000.00 from the Township of Fredon General Capital Fund Capital Improvement Fund for Improvements to Van Horn Road Section I

A summary of the terms of said Ordinance is as follows:

Section 1

appropriates $144,652.00 available from the NJDOT Fiscal Year 2026 Trust Fund Grant/Municipal Aid Program, and $32,000.00 from the Township of Fredon General Capital Fund Capital Improvement Fund, for improvements to Van Horn Road Section I.

Section 2

provides that this Ordinance shall take effect immediately after final adoption.

The record of vote at introduction on August 10, 2026, was as follows: Motion — Moore; Second — Weber; Aye — 3; Nay — 0; Abstain — 0; Absent — Corcella, Plock.

The record of vote at final adoption on August 26, 2026, was as follows: Motion — Weber; Second — Moore; Aye — 3; Nay — 0; Abstain — 0; Absent — Corcella, Nichols.

A copy of this Ordinance has been posted on the bulletin board upon which public notices are customarily posted in the Fredon Municipal Building, and a copy is available, free of charge, to any member of the general public who shall request such copy, at the office of the Municipal Clerk, 443 Route 94, Fredon, NJ 07860, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
