Recycling Pickup
Please place your recycling bin curbside by 6:00 a.m. on collection day.
Curbside Recycling Pickup is available for all residential dwellings located on roads regularly serviced by garbage haulers every other Monday. In New Jersey, all residents and businesses are required by law to recycle.
Material must be placed at the curbside the evening before scheduled pickup—regardless of your garbage contractor.
The following items may be recycled co-mingled:
- Aluminum & Tin Cans
- Glass Bottles & Jars – all colors
- Plastic Containers (#1 through #7)
- Corrugated Cardboard (flattened )
- Chipboard (cereal boxes, etc.) (flattened )
- Brown paper bags
- Newspapers
Recyclable items must be placed at the curbside in a reusable container. Containers cannot have trash haulers names on them. Items left in plastic or paper bags will not be picked up.
